Pupils in Forms IV, V and VI are excused Registration with their Form Tutors during the period of official Study Leave, on the day of an exam, and on the day before an exam.

Study Leave for Form IV is from Monday 29th April – Friday 31st May (inclusive) and for Forms V and VI is from Thursday 9th May – Wednesday 5th June (inclusive).

Please note that there will be some examinations that fall outside these dates, and candidates are allowed to take the day off before an examination that is outside the Study Leave period.

It is important for health and safety purposes that we know who is in the Academy at any time.

If a pupil is present in the Academy on any morning or afternoon when they do NOT have an exam, he or she is asked to sign in and out at the Office.

During an exam, attendance in the Academy is the responsibility of the SQA Invigilators.
