Carnegie Award Shadowing Group
The Carnegie Award is the UK's most prestigious young people's book award, highlighting some of the best, new youth fiction available. The shadowing group consists of pupils in Forms I - III who are passionate about reading widely and exploring new ideas.
Meeting once a month, the group engages in lively and thoughtful discussions in an informal and friendly atmosphere. Always open minded, the group chooses its own winner, giving Dollar Academy its own option of literary worth. New members are always welcome.
