Skiing

The Ski Club offers a wide range of activities, including lessons for complete novices and regular practice sessions at Firpark Ski Slope, Tillicoultry, as well as practice sessions at Midlothian Ski Centre (Hillend), Edinburgh, and to the indoor snow slope at Xscape, Glasgow. We also organise a highly popular week-long Ski Tour to the French Alps, the next one being Easter 2014.
This has proved a very popular trip in the past, with over 110 pupils on the Easter 2012 trip. We stay in the Hotel Piolet in Les Menuires, a hotel and ski area we know very well, having had numerous memorable, ski-filled tours there in recent years. Full details, including Diaries and Photos from previous trips are on the school website under Co- curricular, then Trips and Visits.
