On 9 November 2007, Dollar Academy hosted the Scottish Schools Quartet and Trio competition. The event was a great success with our own Senior Quartet, (P/M Sean Sarafilovic, Robbie Shedden, Euan Tait and Ross Hammond), pictured here with David Methven, again retaining “The Forrest McLelland Trophy”.  Our Junior Trio of Patrick Roe, Robert Reid and Sandy Cameron also enjoyed success, finishing third in their competition.

Sandy Cameron (J1) is also attracting numerous favourable comments from the adjudicators on the Solo circuit.  He is pictured here with The Royal Scottish Pipers Rose Bowl for his first place in the College of Piping Juvenile (U18) Piobaireachd Competition; other noteworthy successes include firsts in the Callander Highland Games Under 21 March Competition and Stirling MOD Under 12 Piping Competitions.
