BOARDING IN DOLLAR

 

Senior Get-together at McNabb & Tait House, May 2009

 

This term, as part of the Boarding Houses’ activity calendars, we organised both Senior and Junior Get-Togethers.   Both were very successful and we hope to repeat the events on a regular basis next session.

The Senior party was held in the evening and was an opportunity for both the boys and girls in FIV –FVI to socialise together.  The planned BBQ was hastily moved indoors at the last minute, however the rain did not dampen the spirits of the boarders.  It was an opportunity for them to display their singing talents as they wrestled for the microphone on Singstar.  The mainstays here were Tom Smith (FVI) and Tiernan Lean (FV).  However, Linda Wills (FVI) and Sarah Fleming (FV) participated wholeheartedly.  On the dance floor it was Jerome Brathwaite (FVI) who stole the show.  A great night was had by all and even a couple of Argyll House FPs dropped in to say hello. 

The relaxed atmosphere in both events gave the boarders a chance to relax and unwind in what was another very busy term.
