Senior Boarders Gathering at Argyll House

Argyll house was the host of our most recent senior boarder’s gathering. In light of our new German roots we had a themed Oktoberfest. Dressing up was mandatory and the house was decorated in the Bavarian colours, there were even performances from each house by the end of the night. The Argyll performance included a good deal of yodelling and thigh-slapping.  We also had a strength competition where two jugs of water had to be held with arms outstretched for the longest amount of time possible. Dr Brooks (representing Argyll) beat Mr McFadyean (representing McNabb) by a landslide at the competition.  However, the overall champion of this match was Angus Sutherland from McNabb. The night was a good one, with plenty of German beer, sauerkraut and “wurst!” to go around. Many thanks to our house parents Dr & Mrs Brooks for making the night so much fun.
