Last Sunday Dr and Mrs Brooks organised our first whole-boarding Junior outing to M&D’s.  The majority of the afternoon was spent on the twist and turns of the roller coasters, the spinning of the swings, the crashing of the dodgems and the sick rotation of the magic carpet.  As it was already the last weekend of October, it had to rain at some point; but far from thinking that this was putting an end to our trip, it actually made the outing much more exciting.  Being cold and wet did not really bother us and there was only one obvious way forward … staying there, being soaked and having fun in the freezing cold.  Then it was time to say “goodbye” to M&D’s and “hello” to pizza.

Arriving back at Argyll House, we quickly warmed up as the pizza was already waiting for us.  The boys stayed at Argyll until they had cleared away even the last few crumbs and it was time for them to go back to their House.  Sadly, this great day had to come to an end and we went back to our House routine – shattered but very happy!
