Healthy Eating at Dollar

Dollar Academy’s caterers have received a ‘Healthy Living Award’.  Managed and delivered by the Scottish Consumer Council and funded by the Scottish Government, the two main aims of the Award are to encourage providers to make the food they serve generally healthier and to clearly identify healthier food choices to consumers.  The latter aim is achieved in the Academy through the ‘Green Apple’ logo on the school’s menus.

Paul McGurl, Cartering Manager at Dollar Academy said “We were very excited to receive the award as it shows our commitment to the well-being of the school.”

The team were presented with their award on 22nd April at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh.
