Junior School Sports Day – Friday 22nd June 2007

Despite inclement weather during the run-up to this year’s Sports Day, the weather stayed fair for the whole afternoon, the sun even peeping through from time to time.  Spectators and competitors alike enjoyed the range of events and were eager to discover which individuals and Houses/Quints proved to be 2007’s winners!  After the usual excitement which the relays create, Mrs Camilla Beesley, soon to be leaving the Academy after 10 years of fine service, presented the awards on the balcony of the Boys’ Pavilion and Robyn McAree thanked her with a bouquet of flowers.

All those in Junior 2 who won an event are pictured above.  The J2 Champions, Robyn McAree and Matthew Mills, are pictured on the left.
