Prep 3DM visit Kingsbarns Beach

Prep 3DM are Marine Biologists

Prep 3DM had a lovely day at Kingsbarns Beach on Tuesday 10th March.  We spent the morning exploring the beach and identifying many of the plants and animals we found there. We found shrimps, a crab, periwinkles, barnacles, anemones, limpets and lots of different types of seaweed.  We looked at different areas of the beach to see which plants and animals preferred wet or dry sand.  We brought back salty sea water and we are now going to try to grow some seeds in salty water.
