One of the highlights of the Second Term had to be the Buccaneers’ Bazaar which was organised by Prep 5.  The theme for this enterprise evolved from the school’s focus on Treasure Island.  Many excited pirates participated in various competitions which included dressing up, designing treasure chests, drawing porthole scenes and decorating pirate eggs.  Throughout the morning, lots of doubloons were spent on the ingenious pirate games (designed by the Prep 5 children) and also on the various items of bric-a-brac found on Billy Bones’ stall.  The final total raised for charity was £800 and the children are to be congratulated on their hard work in making the day so successful.
