This year, from 10 June until 17 June, 14 Form III pupils took part in the French Exchange with our partner school Saint-Grégoire in Tours.  In addition to spending time with their Exchange partners and host families, the Dollar pupils visited places of cultural and historical interest in the beautiful Loire Valley.  Highlights included:

• A guided tour of Tours
• A visit to Château de Chenonceaux
• Shopping in Tours
• A visit to Clos Lucé and Parc Leonardo da Vinci
• Browsing the market stalls and completing a quiz at Marché d’Amboise
• A visit to Château de Chaumont sur Loire and its gardens.
• Fantasy Forest
• A walk around the grounds of Château de Chambord
• A trip to Centre Parcs

Both staff and pupils had a wonderful week, friendships were made and all of those who participated gained a great deal from the trip.  The pictures below give a flavour of the experience.
