Exam Success in 2012

Once again pupils in Forms IV, V and VI have performed very well in SQA exams, with pass rates and A grades amongst the best in the country.

Against a national pass rate for Highers of 76.9%, Dollar pupils in Form V delivered an overall Higher pass rate of 92.5%, with a very pleasing 61% of these passes at grade A.   

A record 41 pupils achieved a clean sweep of five or more grade A passes at Higher (25% of the year group).

Form VI and Form IV results at Dollar were also exceptionally high this year, with over half of Advanced Higher entries achieving a grade A.

In a year that has also seen considerable success in sport, music, art, drama and many other activities, these results reflect great credit on pupils and staff.
