DOLLAR DRAGONS' DEN

The Dollar Dragons' Den 2007 was a great success.  All Form II pupils worked very hard to perfect their presentations for the dragons.  The finalists worked hard to convince the dragons that their products were viable and the best of those on offer.  This year the dragons were Mrs Hazel Duncan (Business Education Department), Mrs Pamela Webster (Technology Department), Mr Andrew McKnight and Mr Mo Parandian (both Dollar businessmen).

Finally, after much deliberation, the dragons agreed that Mill Jeans was the best product.  Mill Jeans was the brainchild of Fraser Souter, Jack Dunn, Amy Thompson, Mairi Gillespie and George Buchanan-Smith.  Their idea was to trim jeans with fur.  Their suave and sophisticated catwalk presentation helped to persuade the dragons that this was a viable product.
