On Tuesday, October 2nd, 30 teams from 24 different schools converged on Dollar for the annual Enterprising Maths competition.
Throughout the day, teams struggled to distinguish lying frogs and truthful toads, tax their arithmetic skills and piece together tangram jigsaws.
After an excellent lunch, and the chance to enjoy some seasonal sun, the teams returned for the final and hard fought round, which saw George Watson’s narrowly beating The Glasgow Academy into second place.
