If you go down to the woods today...

The Teddy Bears’ Pirate Picnic was held on Tuesday 17 June, outside the Home Economics Department.  Despite the dismal weather forecast we managed to get a blink of sunshine at lunchtime when it mattered most. Everyone filled their plates from the huge buffet prepared by Form VI pupils who had chosen to take the “Survival Cookery” module this session.  Pizzas, fruit kebabs, top hats and strawberry cream buns were firm favourites and disappeared from the table at great speed.  At the end of the picnic each Prep 1 pupil was given a Treasure Island place mat as a souvenir and one lucky pupil who had the treasure chest printed in the centre of her bandana won the pirate teddy.  Head boy Sean Sarafilovic, finely dressed as Captain Hook, presented Holly with her prize.
