The Shell Greenpower Challenge 

The ‘Shell Greenpower Challenge’ is underway.  A group of Form III pupils have begun building an electric car which they will, eventually, race.  The team has received sponsorship from a number of sources and are very grateful for the support they have received thus far.  Further help would be welcomed: in particular, they are looking technical expertise in the use of DC motors, gearing and drive systems, and the provision of transport of the vehicle to racing venues on race days.  If you can help in any way, then please contact Mr Cochrane in the Technology Department.
